Baggage Hub and CEO Daniel Bagguley are a complete scam and fraud.

I paid my invoice in early February for 10 large boxes / suitcases and despite an 8-week shipping timeframe, I only received my goods in late July. That’s six months.

They refused to return my goods and kept them in their warehouse despite numerous requests to return them – and so I had no choice but to re-purchase many of my items and suffer unreasonable time delays and additional costs.

CEO Daniel Bagguley is rude and ruthless with zero customer service – he threatens his customers and has zero empathy for how much inconvenience and additional cost and time delays they put you through.

Daniel Bagguley also unlawfully threatened to have my items seized at customs – he is an unscrupulous man who only cares about enriching himself at his customers expense.

You cannot trust Baggage Hub / Daniel Bagguley. It’s worth paying any competitor more money just to have peace of mind.

This is not libel because it is the truth and I have six months of emails to prove it.

Avoid Baggage Hub.

Avoid CEO Daniel Bagguley.

"Unreliable, didn't show on the right day, broke my things"

They didn’t show up on the moving day, I called them all day because I was leaving for Sweden the day after and they hadn’t even noticed the error and I had to arrange for a new pickup the next day, they came 2 hours before I had to leave for the airport, no communication, it was the worst moving experience of my life. When I eventually got my things a lot of it was broken and I didn’t get any compensation. All my boxes with fragile content was clearly marked on EVERY side with several fragile stickers, my studio monitor broke and it’s so sturdy they must have literally dropped the whole box from a high altitude for it to be as damaged as it was. Do yourself a favour and pay a little extra for a proper moving company

Very bad service due to the the fact that we paid for the shipping one and ahalf month ago and till now we keep sending emails and calling the sales department and the ansewer ( will contact you as soon as possible) and then after two weeks we received an email advicing us to pay for storage .
Every email or phone some one else reply .
Most propably will take some legal action against that as till now they did not dispatch our staff from the Uk.

Baggage Hub screwed up literally every aspect of our move: The were late picking up our belongings, late delivering it, lost an item for a few weeks, destroyed some items, and tried to charge us nearly three times the quoted value. Their customer service is slow to respond, and cannot or will not provide useful answers.

May I suggest reading and becoming familiar with the following:

"TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - does someone have my bags?"

Since readings these reviews I see it is typical of this company to lost items and then always say they are ‘chasing it up with TNT’. They lost my stuff in March and no word or compensation now in June. I could not rate this company low enough PLEASE do not use them.
I saw some other people put a notice that if anyone received incorrect bags they could be my items. Specifically I lost a very large purple red suitcase and a cardboard box from Hema. If anyone has any info like this my email is: ellenkcahill@gmail.com

"cheapish but not great"

not great – I shipped 5 big boxes and one pair of skis, and a bicycle from London to New York City.

It was pretty good price-wise, came to a total cost of about £775. This was without insurance for my belongings. The insurance was stupid, as it was really expensive, but I would only get a payout if I lose EVERYTHING. So there was no coverage if you just lost one item, which is what happened to me.

They picked up my stuff in December 2019, and I was told that the delivery would be about 6 weeks. They delivered me some boxes a week before they were picking everything up, which I packed myself, and then a man came to collect them and helped me load them into the van which was great. Up to this point, communication was pretty good.

However, the issues started when I was in the US and waiting for my boxes. My boxes arrived in dribs and drabs over the course of a week, and there was apparently some issue with customs forms, so I had to fill out a load of new forms very hurridly, and I was informed that Baggage Hub hadn’t filled in my forms correctly. It was very stressful and confusing.

The boxes were VERY scuffed and there were holes that had been worn into the boxes and the bike box had a couple of tears in. MOST of my belongings however were not damaged – one picture frame was smashed but it was near the edge of the box so not that big of an issue.

The main problem was that my skis went missing. I’m writing this review in June, and my skis have not been found, and I’ve been offered no form of reimbursement or refund. I’ve chased them up probably once a month since my things were delivered (in mid-February) and each time I follow up I just get told that they’re chasing this up with TNT and I have to wait for further information.

At this stage, I know my skis are lost and I won’t be getting them back (my poles and ski bag were also with them so these are lost too). I also doubt I’ll be getting any form or reimbursement or refund for this, and even if I had insured them, I wouldn’t have gotten any pay out as the rest of my belongings were shipped.

It’s always risky to ship all your things large distances, and I wouldn’t be so upset if they had offered me some form of refund for the part of my shipping that was missing.

Collection a nightmare it almost didn’t happen, six hours before I was boarding my flight.
Delivery made very difficult with many hoops to jump through.

Booked a service on April 23rd and the boxes I received weren’t mine… I contacted the person who I thought the boxes belonged to, to make sure that she knows her boxes would be taking care of. I labeled them correctly and sent them back to baggage hub. I haven’t had any update from them except a lot of ‘our warehouse is looking into it’. I’m now coming here to ask if anybody received boxes that weren’t theirs to maybe send me pictures of what is inside and check if they could be mine or not. They promised my things would arrive within 2 weeks, it took over 2 months and a lot of running around from my end to get my things cleared through customs. Their lack of understand of customs laws made it impossible to get my personal items through. Of the 14 boxes 10 were damaged. When I asked for assistance they just didn’t respond. I even escalated to their CEO with no avail. This is an inexperienced doggy company that’s not worth dealing with. STAY AWAY from them.

Initially had a different re locator but when the situation when the lock down kicked in they abandoned me. Baggage Hub stepped up, and provided all the necessary services at an incredible speed and at a reasonable price. Highly recommend their services.

6 boxes to ship to Montreal Canada from Northern Ireland. 5 boxes made it to Montreal warehouse. Company inform me 1 box is missing. They put out search for box. Day later they find box in Toronto. I inform them there is no point in picking the boxes up until the sixth box arrives. The sixth box comes back to Montreal. Company does not inform me it has arrived. I call a week later to see if it is there. They inform it is. Its picked up. Kicker…. I am charged extra for storage!!!!

I needed to move at short notice for a business secondment. I phoned and agreed details with Baggage Hub’s sales team. They were precise and clear in all their answers, and it all seemed like a dream.

My confirmation email came through and – the collection date was 2 weeks later than what we’d agreed. I had to email & phone (twice) to get them to change it back to the slot they’d already told me was available. My original quote included a fee for weekend collection, but they tried to add it on a second time until I asked them to go back and listen to the call and realised they’d been caught.

My goods were collected on 2 March and reached their warehouse on 4 March. It took them *3 weeks* to notice I’d paid, despite chasing through their system, by email, and phoning multiple times. They rarely responded. On 26 March they moved my possessions from one warehouse to another, but still in the UK. They’re still not on a ship and – because they’ve delayed so late – I suspect the COVID-19 lockdown may now be a factor (though note, this only started on 23 March). However I don’t know this, because once again they’re not replying to my calls, emails or online queries.

I have no idea what’s happening, or when/whether I’ll get my life’s possessions. Meanwhile I’m on the other side of the ocean without them, getting nothing but radio silence.

(( PS – price was good on the face of it – but it’s a rubbish price when you consider that they’ve given me nothing but trouble ))

Everything seemed planned to perfection. And yet when the boxes started to arrive (bit by bit rather than in one go as had been agreed), they all had been handled with so little care as to be almost unrecognisable from the departure point. 80% of the fragile items shipped did not survive, smashed to pieces despite the careful packing I had done. And only one of the two boxes I had paid extra to have crated was actually crated.
Moving across an ocean is traumatic enough, but this company’s incompetence just adds to the distress. The fulfilment partners they select are untrustworthy and should be ashamed of the service they provide. I am still waiting to find out what, if any, compensation I can expect.
I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Here is a taste of the issues I had during a very stressful international move (Australia to USA): I booked their door-to-service because it was quoted to take 7-10 days from Australia to the USA. However, after more than 3 weeks, my shipment hadn’t made it to the USA. My second issue occurred when I booked the service of packing materials delivery for 16 Jan; however, I was told by a representative that I should source my own and he assured me that my invoice would reflect the updated cost less packing materials. This was utter BS, since I later learned that the packing materials were FREE and I had to spend $30AUD on my own packing materials, Ubers, and apparently now £50 for shrink wrapping because my packing materials weren’t “adequate.”

So far, one of the largest issues is that they outsourced the pickup in Australia to TNT Shipping. I wasn’t told until the night before my pickup what time my pickup would occur, who was doing it, etc… and I HAD to call Baggage Hub myself – there was no communication from Baggage Hub even after I had emailed twice requesting all of this information. TNT didn’t provide the additional paperwork required until 10:30pm on the night before pickup, they didn’t make their pickup on time, and although they picked up my boxes on 12 Feb, they didn’t register it as “picked up” until 20 Feb. As the company that sub-contracted TNT, I expect Baggage Hub to share responsibility for the complete lack of responsibility for their service. In addition, their communication with your own sub-contracted workers was dismal. I had written updates about the number of boxes, but this was never conveyed to TNT – even though it occurred because TNT was dispatched – and TNT was then surprised and confused with ME about what I had to ship. This also caused issues with the content and number of shipping labels that were provided by both companies.

DISGUSTING behaviour!!! Do not use them!!! On top of the issues themselves, Baggage Hub has shown a complete lack of accountability and willingness to help me as the customer.

They increase prices on invoice without no reason and you may end up paying custom in destination country even though you paid for door to door air freight service. I felt like I was robbed. These guys are bunch of cheaters and robbers. PLEASE DON’T DEAL WITH THEM. I have raised my concerns with UK consumer protection. I bought the service via GOSSELIN, who handed it off on a promise of a 7-10 day transit, which ended up taking a month… with no communication unless I asked and then only got false promises and run arounds. Did not even get proper info to collect my goods! Afterwards when I complain, all is turned on me and there is not even a bit of listening to the customer, as of the start – totally unreliable and untrustworthy service, for me never again !

They were incredibly helpful when I was planning the move and packing my things. I had to move very suddenly and they helped me at every difficult turn. The contact with the company has been great and they have been lovely and helpful.

However, when my boxes arrived in my new country, multiple boxes were ripped open at the bottom and boxes marked fragile were upside down and crushed. I lost picture frames and my computer.
The computer they even put in a wooden box themselves for extra protection. But they didn’t put any buffer between the computer and the crate. No packing peanuts or anything soft, which leads to the computer sliding around and banging against the sides. Unfortunately, the damage is internal and not visible, so I have to pay for the repair/new parts myself.
I don’t know if anything fell out of the ripped open boxes either, I can only hope.
So customer service was great, the actual shipping and handling of the cargo were beyond bad.

Really bad experience. We negotiated a price on the phone before making the order but once they picked up our boxes they kept trying to increase to over 50% more of the price agreed originally. After a lot of time wasted between calls and emails we managed to keep the original price. For a month they claimed not to have received the payment, even though we provided proof of this immediately. Finally we were told our stuff had been dispatched, then we lost access to the dashboard and couldn’t track our shipment, plus they were incredibly unresponsive not replying to any emails. The boxes have finally arrived, two months and a lot of concern later. Do not recommend.

"Fraud and a disaster!!!!!!"

I have been moving since a very young age, due to education, and this has been for sure the worst move ever! It was incredibly stressful and poorly managed. In the end, not only did it take way longer than expected and have me fly into the Netherlands, for absolutely nothing, as the driver didn’t arrive and didn’t inform of this either, they also lost one of my boxes and charged me more than the items, I shipped in the end. The communication was awful start to finish – rude and lead to nowhere. The items arrived in quite poor condition and a box went missing, the price was quite high, especially for this quality of service, where I got screamed at over the phone, because I said I have a hearing impairment and prefer to use email, where I tried to contact them for days after the rider didn’t arrive and I literally flew into the Netherlands for a day, just to be there to hand the items over and then they disappeared without having confirmed delivery (thank God the building has a concierge and someone was there to pick up my items, that were dropped off without a warning) and never changed the price or anything, even though I shipped 2 boxes less, than planned. It was a completely HORRIFIC experience, that took way more money than expected (especially, if you include a useless flight to Amsterdam) and many many nerve cells. I will never ever again move anything with baggage hub. This was a disaster from start to finish!

5) They would bring it to UK from Holland and put it on a bigger truck. They truck it directly
6) They promise ” dedicated and experience ” trucker. I got a guy from poland who was using his own van and was driving driectly

They came to pick up my boxes the wrong day, then charged me a extra “wrapping fee” (150 pounds) without asking anything making me pay for over 200 pounds what was expected for boxes weighting less than scheduled (I weighted them all myself) . Arguing with them for nothing delayed the shipping of my boxes, it took them over a week to process my paiement and then ship them.
Once arrived take them 2more weeks to “find” my house, scheduling days I had to stay at home waiting for a delivery that was not happening.
From the wrong picking up day to the day I finally received my entire life, instead of the 7 to 10 days promised, a month went by.
I don’t count the time and energy spent on the phone with them to try to solve a problem that at the end I actually had to solve by myself calling the external shipping company they gave my boxes to.
Useless thieves.

They were very helpful in the beginning. Prices and fees were explained and they promptly collected my items.

The delivery was delayed and took a few weeks and was incomplete.
One item was displayed on the portal as incomplete and was told they were attempting to resolve it. When I phoned them directly it turned out they had not actually taken any action.
Once they initiated a search communication was awful. They do not communicate or provide updates. I have to contact them and go through the telephone queue to get answers and updates.

This remains unresolved for more than a month.

Everything was horrendous, I was warned beforehand, but things keep getting worse. The regular big cargo shippers wanted to charge for 5 cubic metres, and as I only 1.5 cubic metres decided to chance it with an online shipper.
After I looked for estimates online, I was inundated with sms, phone calls and emails to see if I was using their service.
When I finally decided to use the service, about three weeks before my departure date, I was very specific in what I wanted shipping some chairs, a games table and household items (of no commercial, only sentimental/replacement value)
Every correspondence thereafter came from a different person, and the company name would change Baggage Hub, Global Baggage, Global Hub, Shipping Force.
My estimate, in writing, was for 5 boxes, and delivery to destination for £483 and speak with Yosef for more information. I still haven’t found Yosef.
The day before my collection was due suddenly they told me the estimate was not correct, and it would be £783.
As I was filling in the online forms and paperwork, the understood terms and conditions changed – it was going by air, not by sea. So weight became an issue. So did volumetric size. Now they started telling me there would be no delivery. And I would have to go to customs and release it and ship it myself to the destination.
Then the list of prohibitions and restricted items became quite a shock – no liquids, no food, no sharp objects, no rugs, no this and no that. So much for me going to Primark, Boots, and Costco to send ‘essential’ supplies. No rugs, knives, electrical items etc??? arent these part of my standard household things.
The insurance option stated that it was only valid if all the boxes in the consignment went missing and not if only one was damaged or missing!
Somewhere in the small print it said there was no guarantee would go as one consignment, and the items were not palletised together.
The day of the collection arrived and no collection, despite several emails and SMS stating they would arrive between 8 am-5 pm. I waited in all day, and didn’t do my goodbyes to friends and family as planned; and I was getting on a plane, 5 hours later!
I rung several times, and spoke to several people, who told me not to be rude and raise my voice – I was pretty stressed by then!
At 4.55 someone told me they would check out the situation and let me know what is happening, but they would have to work late because of me!!
At 6.50 someone finally arrived, the driver told me he had only been told at 5.30 about this collection. All the information he had about the weights, number of boxes and the fact that some boxes were heavy and I needed help to carry them, was completely wrong.
The goods were delayed around two weeks whilst trying to dispute all these extra costs, charges and conditions, and that they wanted double the estimate!

Finally the other end – and still waiting for delivery, and in the middle of the end of the story.

Someone very briskly called me from Turkish Air and told me come pick up my parcels. Where? when? how??
He said to employ a customs broker and was gone.
I eventually found a customs broker and was told there are £80-100 charges on this, and on something else, plus VAT, plus his fee, plus storage costs, plus input duty.
Still trying to find and sort out with the broker, no idea when exactly the story will end, expecting around another £400 charges.

At this rate, it would have been simpler easier and possibly cheaper to go with one of the big sea freight shippers and the cost would have been the same, less headache, and my essential shopping won’t have been a problem.

This company works with customers from around the world and from the outset, the communication was terrible due to the different time zone, so there is no support for customers outside the UK. Also, this company does not work most of the business work hours, very difficult to speak with their customer service. Since I’m from the US, I had to call them at dawn to be able to talk to them. Every time I had to call them, a different employee used to give me different information because they didn’t share information between them, every time I needed to correct their emails, very exhausting. Anyway, as agreed, I should have received my items by 12/27 and my items were delivered on 12/30 damaged and in terrible condition. I’m very disappointed with this company because of their lack of commitment and to not fulfill the agreement. This is not a reliable company because before you book, they promisse you everything and after that only God knows.

It’s been 5 weeks and I still don’t have my boxes. This company doesn’t have any compassion.
It’s Christmas and I don’t have my 14 boxes. The mistake was from their end. They don’t know the laws of where they are sending the goods and therefore sent the wrong paperwork and now customs wants over $1400 euro. Also the boxes are damaged and falling apart. DO NOT USE BAGGAGE HUB! Like many others I have had a dreadful experience with this company. Poor communication, damaged goods, late arrival of goods. They told me they would shrink wrap all of my packages. IT DID NOT ARRIVE THAT WAY. they charged me £110 for something i did not get. Rip off complete rip off. They have no regard for the customer. They honestly do not care. I am so sick of dealing with them, you have to follow up on everything, they failed the most simple tasks. How can they call themselves a professional shipping company, it’s a joke. Never have i felt the need to complain or even write a bad review, but anyone that considers this company deserves to know about the scam this company is.
11 boxes going from London U.K to Portland Maine USA. they charged me over £1100, and for that price i got, delays, damaged items, some of the worst customer service. I had to deal with TNT and FEDeX myself because i could not rely on them to handle that. It took me two weeks and emailing them to get my £110 refund for my shrink wrapping service. They had no interest in helping me, they told me they would and i had to follow once again because they don’t want to deal with refunds or complaints. So do yourselves a favour AVOID THIS COMPANY PLEASE i would not wish this experience on anyone, and I am sorry for those who already had too.

UNPROFESSIONAL! I wish I could give this company MINUS FIVE STARS. DO NOT GO WITH BAGGAGE HUB.

I don’t even know where to start.

I just moved to Australia and I needed a few boxes shipped from Canada. My fiancé and I chose Baggage Hub because they had competitive pricing.

We filled out our customer portal with all of the information required, just like they asked. We arranged to have the boxes picked up and all seemed good.

Since I’m now in Australia, I asked my mom to stay home all day the day of pick up. My poor mom waited all day… nobody ever showed up! Nobody called me or emailed me to let me know that they weren’t able to do the pick up for that day. Since they were supposed to get the boxes on a Friday and that they are closed on weekends, I had to wait until the Monday to get an answer.

After a few unanswered phone calls, I got a hold of a customer representative. I asked her why my boxes weren’t picked up and she had NO EXPLANATION. She kept her speech vague and said that Baggage Hub is always working towards “better service.”

Here’s the copy pasted message I kept hearing over the phone and in email “We’re sorry to hear about your frustration about our service, but rest assured that we’re continuously working on improving our service.”

Quite obviously, after no explanation as to why my boxes weren’t picked up and terrible customer service, I decided to cancel my order and requested a refund for my deposit.

When I spoke to a representative, I was told that a refund would be issued. She then proceeded to ask me for my banking details because they needed to do an international transfer. I asked for them to refund me the money on the credit card I had used to make the deposit but she told me that since my case was closed, they no longer had access to my file. Seemed fair enough. I gave her the details and she told me it would take up to 4 working days to get my refund.

4 working days later… I messaged the same customer rep and asked for an explanation. Obviously, she had no answer. She went and checked with the accounting team.

I got no answers so I called a few times to speak to someone over the phone. NO ANSWER!

Finally, after a lot of back and forth, I received my refund.

The manager even had the audacity to tell me in an email that someone tried to contact me to let me know that the boxes weren’t getting picked up on the day I requested. That never happened.

"Stressful international move"

They have nice customer service until you pay the deposit fee. After that, they just don’t care anymore with your shipment. They have poor communication with TNT, the company responsible for the transport and delivery, and if something happens with your goods, they just wash their hands and blame someone else. TNT usually treats shipments like garbage, they already have bad fame for that. Anyway, I requested boxes to pack my things and these boxes never arrived, even if the date of delivery was confirmed. I had to buy new ones otherwise I wouldn’t pack my goods. Then my stuff is delivered 2 weeks late with loads of things broken. I would never recommend Baggage Hub to anybody.

We wanted 5 boxes of household goods shipped from California to New Zealand. Was told to expect it to take 5 to 10 days. It took them over a week to pick them up, and then they ended up in UK through their hub, and so had to supply further customs information to get them into and out of UK.
Delivery to end point has been haphazard. First two boxes arrived 2 weeks after picked up from California, and at time of writing, 5 weeks after shipment booked, we are still waiting on one of the 5 boxes to arrive!

Despite giving correct measurements and weight before pickup when given price:,Baggage Hub said we were wrong following pick up and have changed the price, they also added a crate charge without asking us first, saying they can’t assess this need until they have the box. Despite having the measurements…
We have removed the crate charge but have to sign a disclaimer. Invoice was then to be updated and resent- that was a week ago and haven’t heard anything.
No response when using “invoice query” on website.
Have had to chase them today, awaiting reply.
Our package initially should’ve taken 6-10 days to be delivered. It’s been 20days since collection and counting…
Do you think we’ll ever see our stuff again?

I never take time to write bad reviews as lengthy as this one. Your company is so terrible, I had to take time out of my life to let you know about it.

I don’t even know where to start.

I just moved to Australia and I needed a few boxes shipped from Canada. My fiancé and I chose Baggage Hub because you had competitive pricing and your sales representative seemed like he knew what he was talking about.

My poor mom waited all day… nobody ever showed up! Baggage Hub didn’t have the decency to call me or email me to let me know that they weren’t able to do the pick up for that day. Since they were supposed to get the boxes on a Friday and that they are CLOSED ALL WEEKEND, I had to wait until Monday, November 4th, 2019 to get an answer.

After a few unanswered phone calls, I got a hold of a customer representative named Shirley. I asked her why my boxes weren’t picked up and she had NO EXPLANATION. She kept her speech vague and said that Baggage Hub is always working towards “better service.”

Here’s the copy pasted load of bullshit I keep hearing over the phone and reading in emails: (And I quote) “We’re sorry to hear about your frustration about our service, but rest assured that we’re continuously working on improving our service.”

Did you -the CEO – tell them to throw in that one liner when a customer is unhappy? It quite frankly makes me MORE frustrated. You might want to tell them to stop doing that. I just need explanations.

Quite obviously, after no explanation as to why my boxes weren’t picked up and terrible customer service, I decided to cancel my order and requested a refund for my deposit on November 4th, 2019.

Now, here we go on another adventure…

Today is Tuesday, November 19th, 2019. Did I get my refund yet? No. Do I know when I’ll get it? No.

When I spoke to Shirley on November 4th, 2019, she told me that a refund would be issued. She then proceeded to ask me for my banking details because they needed to do an international transfer. I asked for them to refund me the money on the credit card I had used to make the deposit but she told me that since my case is closed, they no longer have access to my file. Seemed fair enough. “1. It is confirmed that the amount to be refunded is Australian $50.
2. Refund will be made on Friday, 8th November. For international payments, it will take 4 working days for the refund to reflect in your account.”

On November 14th, 4 working days later… I messaged Shirley, AGAIN! And asked for an explanation. Obviously, she had no answer. She said she’ll check with the “accounting team.”

I get no answer so I called a few times to speak to someone over the phone. NO ANSWER! I left a voicemail but nobody called me back.

Still no answer.

On November 15th, I get this email:

“Apologies for the delay. I am following this up with our Accounts team to make sure that you get your refund today.”

Still no refund.

This morning, on November 19th, 2019, after sending multiple follow up emails, I received this:

“Please bear with me. I am following up with our Accounts team.

I was advised last week that they were trying to refund in the payment card you used to make the deposit.”

Is Baggage Hub telling me that they never deleted my file and kept my credit card on file after I had specifically requested for it to be destroyed?

Why did you need my banking details if you could have issued the refund on my credit card this entire time?

Why is it taking so long to get a real answer?

Why is it taking so long to get a refund?

Mr. Baggaley, would you hire Baggage Hub to have your personal items shipped to another country if you were moving with your family across the world?

I didn’t think so.

Please have your accounting team issue my refund.

I have used multiple companies to move to different countries. First, Brazil – UK, then UK-Netherlands and the last one being NL-Brazil. Suddenly, I had to move back and chose this company because they promised a specific deadline and price. I was informed that my boxes would be collected from 9 AM to 6 PM, and even though I had meetings and things to solve, I stayed at home. They never showed up and I had to fly on the next day. It took 3 hours of phone calls and 5 people for them to pick up…at 8:30 PM. You have to print the labels and the inventory list – if you collector refuses to take the inventory stating “nah, it is not necessary” then write the list on your boxes so you don’t have problems with the authorities of the other country (more $$$). Moreover, even though their estimative is X, they might just send another e-mail recalculating the value. And that’s the final value (more $$$ again). In the end, they had sent my boxes to the UK (?) and then hired TAP Cargo to deliver things in Brazil. I had to make a last second decision, but when I think about this company… oh dear, I should’ve bought more flight tickets carrying 64 kg of luggage.

Up until the point of taking my money, communication was smooth and everything was easy.
However, right after that point communication stopped and my shipment was not moved at all. It took me constantly phoning and emailing to finally get the to ship it to me a full month late. The customer service people on the phone were always lovely, and it is not their fault the company sucks.
Bagagehub also sent my shipment via TNT, which is not a removals company. As a result the delivery person was not ready for moving my many and heavy boxes, and the boxes themselves were severely beat up before delivery. The fact that I only lost a few items during the move is a testament to my packing, not the service received.

I will always recommend people not to use Bagagehub, or ShippingForce (the company swap was confusing in its own right). Your stuff may arrive, but you’ll waste a significant amount of energy and time trying to get your stuff to be delivered.

"Nightmare"

It has been an absolute nightmare. It started fine, good service and everything looked professional. The problems started appearing after they picked up the boxes.

First problem: they couldn’t find all the boxes in the warehouse so they couldn’t issue an invoice so it took about three extra weeks for them to be able to ship things out.

Second problem: they lied over and over again. I sent about 20 emails and made at least 10 calls. Most of them went unanswered but worse than that (yes, it’s possible) was that when I managed to talk to someone or get a reply from someone they would make some excuse and very politely would say what would happen next (“it will be solved in x number of days. The issue was…”) but it was never the case.

Third problem: communication. I would find out about a development by pure luck not because they would contact me.

Fourth problem: lack of accountability. It turned out Baggage Hub had absolutely no control over what would happen to my boxes once they arrived at the destination. It has been almost two months after the boxes arrived and I still haven’t been able to get them through customs because they were sent out with the wrong paperwork. There’s no one to talk to at Baggage Hub.

I will never utilise this company again and I will try to tell my story to as many people as possible so they won’t use Baggage Hub.

Our personal belongings, packed into 11 cardboard boxes with 5 separately packed paintings were moved from southern Germany to NW France. Although all ran smoothly for the pick-up ( although the paperwork provided did not reflect the additional boxes we had booked) from then on things went downhill fast. The original window for delivery was missed, then two weeks later the goods began to arrive. First came the paintings which at some stage had been exposed to water damage as well as rough handling resulting in broken glass. The next delivery brought 10 of the 11 boxes looking in a very sorry state and containing many broken items, some of great sentimental value. The final box had not survived the journey and its contents were delivered re-packed over the course of 3 days. Some items were missing. Having moved belongings across Europe on a number of different occasions without a problem, the degree of damage suffered during transit was frankly a shock. Beyond expressions of sympathy from our correspondent at baggage-hub the custom service, in particular the handling of our complaint has been woeful. The only insurance that had been offered to us before the goods were collected was for total loss of the entire shipment, so would not have covered us in any case. Our advice: unless you want your goods chucked about at depot after depot by what was effectively a postal service, steer well clear of this company.

Initially sales people were nice and price seemed reasonable. However, this was proved very wrong. Instructions were not followed for pickup resulting in a days delay; online portal for tracking was showing someone else’s shipment going to Poland. Had to call everyday to get updates and as the company categorically does not pick up the line for existing order i each time had to ring sales to get through. Upon my shipping arriving one box (of 10) was missing and one item completely broken. I spent several days trying to get any form of update on where my missing box was and at the end of the week, when i still havent even received a response that they are trying to assist, i had to log a formal complaint. Even now, instead of assisting, i am repeatedly being asked for the same information of “whats gone wrong” with no sense of apology for the absolute shambolic service and no suggestion that i will get compensation (despite having paid for insurance cover for the move) or that they have made any attempt to locate the missing box. In summary, this has been beyond a disappointing experience i hope people read this prior to booking anything with this company.

My items still have not been moved, after two failed attempts. The communication has been awful to say the least. First I kept receiving lots of long and rather useless phone calls, where the caller from baggage hub ignored my hearing disability. Then, when the date was arranged, and the deposit paid (which I have not gotten back, even though no items were collected.) I flew into the country and stayed there the whole day waiting for collection, but no one showed up, and no phone calls to baggage hub provided me with any information about the whereabouts or presumed arrival time of the moving company. When, phoning their customer service, I just waited on the line for over 15mins each time, and no one replied. The company provides only one type of time slot for collection, and still doesn’t arrive during it to collect items. The communication has been also awful, and led to nothing but stress. All this company has given me – wasted time, money, and a lot of stress. I would NOT recommend this to anyone. It has been an awful experience throughout. And currently I am searching for a new company for moving, which will actually uphold the collection date and time and show up. Never using this again!!!!

So many issues right off the bat with these movers. They were a day late in coming to pick up my luggage. They were dishonest with the amount of money it would cost to move my things. I was told to pay half in advance and the other half when they picked up my packages, then they pulled an additional £50 fee that I was obligated to pay or they would not complete the shipment. I was on a schedule so I couldn’t argue with them. To top it all off, my luggage was damaged and an entire wheel was torn off the suitcase. Horrible service. Would not recommend under any circumstances.

The shipment was delayed significantly. Extremely rough handling of the stuff, anything that could break arrived broken despite warping adequately with numerous layers of bubble-wrap and labeling boxes as FRAGILE. Boxes were torn apart and re-patched on few occasions. Communication is very poor, no one picked the customer services phone despite numerous attempts at different times of the day and different days. I had to call their sales number to get to speak to someone and chase the shipment for the extreme delays. I was told they were waiting for my visa but no one told me about the visa. They gave me deadline for payment same day they calculated the cost (which I did pay on same day) but kept my stuff in their warehouse for over 10 days . They said shipment is between 3-10 days on their advertisement but when I challenged them they said our policy is between 10-15 days from payment. The total cost is colossal both for the fees, broken stuff and significant delay. I regret using their service.
In summary this company should not be allowed to operate with such poor service.

Absolutely horrible experience, unprofessional and useless. Never again to deal with this so called ‘company’. Contacting was fast until the first payment and collection of my property, then everything changed. Lies, no more reply, horrible service and prices doubled from what was agreed before. All measuring of weight and box sizes was wrong and absolutely incorrect.

Had travel 20 hours to pick up my boxes by myself in London at the warehouse to avoid further costs and lies.
To get back my things I had to pay 700 Euro and report the case to police.

Try to avoid by any means. The worst experience with a European company that I ever had.

Initial impressions good. Delivery of packing boxes very prompt. Single, helpful, point of contact at BaggageHub. Pick-up organised when requested. However, this is not really a removal service in the traditional sense. 3rd party couriers are used to transport the goods to and from a storage hub (in my case, the UK – despite the fact that the collection and delivery points were both on the Mediterranean!). This means that little care is taken when handling (think of airport baggage handlers rather than removal men). Several items arrived damaged or broken despite being wrapped in foam padding. Using this service for your prized ceramics or glassware is definitely not advisable. Finally, the experience was further soured by lack of information surrounding the (delayed) delivery date. Eventually I got a call from the delivery courier asking if I was at home to receive my 3 palettes (?!). Given that each palette contained approx 10 boxes, weighed around 200kg and the driver was proposing to leave them on the pavement, I was not impressed. A further 5 days passed before re-delivery (box by box, and with assistance to get them into the flat) was arranged.

"The moving company was a flaming dumpster fire in my life."

The company offered a decent price up front…and assured me they were experienced with shipping to the Middle East. They were not (or if they were it certainly did not seem like it). They pawned my shipping off to third parties at multiple points in the trip. The shipment information was never fully updated. (It was delivered over a week ago…and yet on their tracking system it is still in transit…even now.) When I would call the company they couldn’t give me a straight answer on where my shipment was. When I emailed them…they told me to call them. (Yes…I know that doesn’t make sense.)

Eventually a representative found my shipment…already in country. It had been sitting at the airport collecting storage fees…and I was never contacted. When I contacted them they couldn’t find it. When I presented them with the problem of paying for a shipment I didn’t know had arrived (or the 3rd party they had pawned it off to), they stonewalled me when I asked them to pay for the storage fees.

This has been my 4th international move. I am an experienced overseas traveler and I understand the nuances of the shipping world. However, the level of communication and competency of this company is as low as can be imagined. They represent a flaming dumpster of wasted time, money, and energy. My hope is that others read this review and avoid them like the monetary plague they are.

The first guy I spoke with was very helpful and answered all my questions. I booked the boxes and the shipping. First time the boxes were said to be delivered to my house but they wetent (I was home all day). Nowhere to be found in my neighbourhood either. Second time I had them delivered at my work which went fine. The boxes were picked up on the right day, June 1st. However, a month later I haven’t received any info on shipping nor did I receive my boxes. I have been checking the tracker, but it has been on “June 1, your boxes are due to be picked up today” for a whole month. "Problems shipping via baggage hub a wooden rocking horse"

First, I like to tell everybody never ever ship anything with baggage hub ones you have a problem it will never be solved but they claim it is your fold.
I asked for a quote to ship a wooden rocking horse from Thailand to Switzerland. I received the offer and it looked okay they mentioned that the shipment to Switzerland will take approx. 7-12 days. It was just fine because it would arrive on time for Christmas. I also asked if they do the packing which they confirmed, and I agreed to ship it with baggage hub and paid the down payment. They planned to pick up the goods but informed me that they have no possibility to pack it in Thailand? Then the problem started. With difficulty, I found a place to get the rocking horse well and properly packed with 3 layers of packing (plastic-air-foils and cardboard) especially around the head. Outside I place on both sides a label marked: FRAGILE handle with care. In addition, I marked on all sides an arrow and wrote TOP. Finally, they picked it up and the wooden rocking horse arrived 35 days later!!! Too late for Christmas and far longer than they have confirmed. I tracked the shipment and already worried that the goods will be delayed. I wrote several times but mostly got only an auto-reply; I am out of the Office until…. and then most of the time I didn’t get a reply. The worst was that after the recipient unpacked it the horses’ ears were broken off. I had many emails correspondence with baggage hub. I wanted to know why it took 3 times longer than they offered, and why I didn’t get most the time any reply to my questions. They replied only excuses and the replies was like it was all my fault. E.g. they informed me that the shipping delay was because of Christmas. Well, I didn’t know that Christmas is on many days and not only on Christmas day! Maybe a delay okay but not 23 days delay. Because the goods arrived damaged, I was hoping that at least they apologize and pay the cost to fix the broken ears. I only can say again:
DON’T SHIP ANYTHINGS WITH BAGGAGE HUB
Ones you have a problem you will have a problem and they will blame you. There are many shipping companies which are good and reliable and offer competitive prices too.

We needed a bookcase shipped from Neuss Germany to Sydney Australia in November 2018.
We wrapped the bookcase well as seven separate items. The seven items were picked up in Germany by a UK courier and taken to the UK. Baggage Hub provided four crates for the seven items which were sea freighted to Sydney. We have just received the four crates at our home and we are very happy to report that the bookcase is in the same condition as it left Germany.
If we have any advice it would be to wrap the items well into manageable sizes prior to pick up. Baggage Hub did a great job in providing custom made crates at reasonable cost. Also we were patient with no illusion about shipping periods as international shipping is a complex operation.
Full marks to Shipping Force/Baggage Hub for a job well done.

Emails go unreplied. Return phone calls are promised that never happen. I discover a host of items that in 25 years of my moving around the world are normally transported, Baggage Hub do not – eg bathroom cabinet items that they classify as liquids and so will not take, bottles of wine – same “excuse”. I am only looking to move Geneva-London. However the icing on the cake is that tomorrow my boxes will be delivered to me in Geneva “Between 8am and 5pm” – and they cannot be more accurate than that!!!! In the year 2019, with email, GPS, mobile phones, …this is just an insult to me, the customer and a 1st class example of a company running its business to suit itself and not the client

The goods are still with me. First when I was offered the price for Door to Door shipment I was told on the phone that they will do the packing. When it was time to pick it up I was told that they do not pack it. Because it it is very difficult here in Thailand to get my goods packed as a private person (not have a company) . I finally I found someone which packed it after a long search. Then when they picked it up I was told that they can not send it overseas because it is made of wood and I need to register at the Thai customs which I didn’t know. Now I am in the process to get the permission to export the goods but it will be to late to arrive on Christmas. At least TNT which picked up the packing (and returned it the next day) where helpful about all the forms which had to fill out. I just wish that Baggage Hub is aware that the goods is a Christmas present for my grandchildren and hope they will help that ones the clearance by the Thai customs has been done it will be handle and shipped as urgent as possible. Thank you.

They lost 1 item out of 8. The rest took like 3 weeks to arrive. According to the very little feedback I had, it was TNT to blame for the lost item. I had very little feedback about the issue. Never replied to my emails. Had to call 5 times and always received elusive replies. To top it all, my last question about compensation or insurance has not received any reply after 1 week, despite they said it would come back to me after 24 hours.

This was a complete disaster from beginning to end. Baggage Hub did the bare minimum in my view – they did NOT stress how detailed and specific the inventory had to be and nor did they request my visa. I ended up having to send visa details during an exhausting 24 hour journey and then jump through ridiculous hoops and pay customs duty on used personnel effects before I got my stuff around 3 weeks late- I exchanged 62 emails with the agent in Vietnam before I managed to get a Vietnamese friend to call and sort things out. Baggage Hub were slow to act, basically did nothing and weren’t even particularly apologetic.
If you move to a far off land, make a note of EVERYTHING you send, it’s original price and it’s approximate value now. Be prepared to get all the names of your items translated into the host country language and evn into the local currency.
One final point, nothing to do with Baggage Hub – Be careful with “exotic” items like smoke alarms – they thought they were smoke bombs!

Baggage Hub neglected to ask if we were novices or experienced shippers. They asked for the bare minimum documentation without explaining how forensically detailed the inventory has to be to ship to Vietnam – every ltem needs to be listed by name (in English and Vietnamese), original value and current value (we were shipping used household goods.) I ended up having to email pictures of my visa in the middle of a 20 hour flight, then it took an extra 2 weeks, £45 customs “fee” and 61 emails to get my goods released. When I complained to BH and asked to speak to a Manager I was told “That’s not how we do things” which is really NOT what you want to hear when you’re calling from 8,000 miles away in the middle of your night. When I did email my complaint as instructed I got one mildly apologetic email and no assistance or support for a further week. I eventually got a VN friend to call the TNT agent and sort things out. The whole experience was super-stressful and a salutary reminder not to go with the cheapest price…Baggage Hub were a disaster.

Really disappointed with the service, once they had my deposit and booking, they didn’t seem interested in helping us. The pick up was fine, but the service we received once our shipping was in Vietnam, they didn’t seem to want to know and seemed clueless on the systems in Vietnam. We payed for door to door service but once the items were in Vietnam, we had to do all the work. The items should have been delivered on the 7th August, on the 10th August I called them and they responded “oh haven’t you received you shipping yet”, it ended up that baggage hub had filled the paperwork incorrectly, so they needed, this delayed us by a few days, no apology was offered. We then heard nothing more for a few days, I rang most days, but the standard was response was it was in customs, often even though they promised they didn’t call or email me back, meaning I had to chase them. Eventually we found our TNT number (Which baggage hub wouldn’t give us) and got one of the Vietnamese staff at my work to ring TNT, we were told that we that we needed to give a price to every item and translate it to Vietnamese, again baggage hub didn’t tell us about this and we could have had this done before we arrived, we then had to personally take our customs document to the TNT depot (Baggage hub told us to take a scan and send it to them), so again they gave us the wrong information. One of the biggest issues as we didn’t have one person working on our shipping, I must have spoke to 10 different people, none of which seemed to have a clue what was going on. Finally we recieved our shipping 16 days later than we were told. TNT delivered 10/11 boxes, they forgot one box and had to bring it the next day. Two toy boxes were damaged, baggage hub said they would shrink wrap it to protect it, but they didn’t do that properly. All in all a nightmare as soon as the boxes arrived and I think that I worked harder to get my shipping than any of the baggage hub workers. I certainly won’t be using this company again and wouldn’t recommend them to ship items abroad.

It is taking way too long. I was asked this review and I haven’t even received my shipping! If the problem is with UK customs I could have been forewarned! This is the first time that I’ve ever shipped anything overseas and overall the move went well, however there were lots of confusion resulting in phone calls and additionally messages sent from me on the portal at various times (which were never answered) It appears to me that there are understandably different departments within Baggage Hub involved during the process from pick up to delivery, however I found I had to answer some questions twice as it was obvious that the inter departments were not updating each other. As I said overall the move went well, but I think clearer instructions regarding who’s passport is required and when and an improvement of sharing information already supplied between the different departments would be very helpful and a lot more reassuring.

Start to finish my moving of my belongs was made so easy and stress less. Joshua was my main point of contact and helped me complete the complicated looking customs forms. My packing boxes were delivered . I should have used a bit more care wrapping – using bubblewrap. My VHS video player got a smashing time beating!!. All my boxes except one arrived earlier than expected and one arrived separately, dont understand why. But so glad it didn’t get lost. They were good in England and picking up my parcel (which is why they are recieving 1 star and not half or none) however delivery has been absolutely horrendous. Have explained to them many times that I needed it by a certain date (and had given them ample time to do so); not only was I given false promises of it comig the day before I left but also reassured that it had already been through customs. Besides it not being cleared through customs, they have also not given me a tracking number with the US company they used, i’ve been contacted by FedEx that they do not have sucfficiant paperwork, I have had to refill out paperwork, submit things at least 3 times to Baggage Hub, and have been hung up on by customer “care” (no care was shown by this particular australian sounding female). Completely dissatisfied and wouldn’t recommend it. All I want at this point is my parcel and that is proving to be more difficult than proposed.

1. My order was done on the 6th collected on the 10th and I still I Haven’t received my shipment today one month later!

I’m happy that I moved with Baggage Hub from the UK to Ireland. It was a personal move and I had a small number of boxes and suitcases. They were the most reasonably priced. I was completely unsatisfied with my moving experience, I air shipped 4 pieces of luggage from the UK to the USA. The estimated shipping time was 7-10 days but it ended up being nearly 2 months. The reason I am not happy with my mover is that there was little to no contact effort made by Baggage Hub to update me on the progress of my shipment. I had to continually call in for updates as well as to push along the customs form process once my bags arrived in the USA. I am not upset about the delay because I understand that there was a data breach with the shipping supplier that they used, but I am upset about the lack of communication regarding the data breach from Baggage Hub. My emails to customer service were completely ignored and the only way I was able to find out any information was by calling the number directly which became costly given that I had moved out of the UK.

Do not chose this company to ship your things.
They offer an awful, unfair service and the people working at the company are incompetent.
They will promise an amazing service to you, but they will then not answer your queries, change moving dates and work with third party companies leaving personal effects with several other companies. They made mistakes with invoices, dates and I was so frustrated by the end of it I wanted to cry.

My bags were delivered a week late and I only received them after days of sending emails and calling the company. The half star is for TNT, who were incapable of following up on my address or phone number, both clearly marked on the bags, meaning I had to chase them for days while living out of my hand luggage, being transferred from department to department, none of whom knew how to deal with the situation. The customer service was very bad.
They do not give at the beginning a clear explanation of all the details and cost of their service. Then After you paid the deposit, begins to appear extra charges everywhere. Which leads to almost double the value of the bill.
The invoice they send does not have a clear detail of what you are being charged and if you do not check it well and call them for clarification, they charge more. On my bill they were mistaken for £100 more.
When I called them they treated me very rude and they passed me with three different people, as if I were crazy, when in the end I was right.
Another thing I did not like is that you must pay in advance the deposit and they take your stuff, but they never give you a receipt with a signed detail of what are they take. I had to ask 4 times by telephone and email for it.
