"not happy at all"

not happy at all. 2 boxes got lost. We had paid for delivery to the apartment and unpacking. but the boxes were left in the entry hall. After talking to the Company which delivered, we found out, that they had totally different instructions, so no time to unpack. The two missing boxes were never found.

The People of Santa Fe Wridgways that have helped me in my relocation overseas so far have been wonderful.
They have always been willing to help and answer any questions I had.
The packers and removilists were fast and efficient and handled all my belongings with complete care.

Santa Fe wasn’t the best at communicating; there were times I had to email repeatedly until I got a reply, because I hadn’t heard back after days. I constantly had to follow-up; they were not proactive in letting me know what the progress was with my shipment. The receiving company, Contour USA, was great. They contacted me – before Santa Fe did – for my customs details, were very quick to reply to inquiries, and arranged delivery. The delivery team was very friendly, arrived when they said they would, and did an excellent job. Overall, my items took 3.5 months to go from Australia to the USA (pick up to delivery), which wasn’t bad, and everything arrived safe and sound without any damages – including dishes, and original artwork, Despite some communication issues, I’d therefore still recommend Santa Fe, and would definitely recommend Contour at the receiving end.

Friendly people during the move. They came to pick all the boxes up a week after we moved in which was especially appreciated. Everything went smoothly from the first assessment to the last pick up of the boxes. Would recommend them anytime.

Really abysmal service. 6 weeks after our container was packed I found out that it had not even left the city yet. There was no communication of any sort unless I initiated it. Barely an acknowledgement of the trouble it has caused us. We have been overseas for a month now and still no sign of our shipment arriving for at least another couple of weeks. Don’t ever use these guys!

The company pack most of the goods off sight then when it arrived in NZ there was no inventory to be found , then it took two weeks to make one up delaying customs on the NZ end looks so I need to pay for storage from the 15th of December onwards , so we have have been in our house since the 8th of December with No furniture .
Just simply disappointed.

Absolutely terrible. I was hit by an additional $800 in taxes and $1,000 in delivery fees on top of a suggested $300 in ‘floor protection fees’ for delivery. After so much (weeks and weeks) to-ing and fro-ing they eventually accepted all of the fees were made up and delivered the goods. Sadly floors were damaged and six months later we are still haggling over their reparation costs even though a quote from a reputable local floor company was provided. Disaster of a move.

I could not rate these guys worse.
Long story short, i agreed to go with them because they promised me a good price and a good delivery time, and they knew this was the reason i went with them.
They promised me 4 weeks for delivery to NZ. 6 weeks later i hadnt got my stuff. i contacted them and it hadnt even left australia yet!!
They paid me a tiny amount to say sorry, then promised another week or two for delivery, but of course that was BS.

Do NOT go with these guys. they were horrible to deal with, and said whatever they needed to to get my business. then reneged at every step.

DO NOT TRUST THEM. The person I was dealing with was Sharona Unger. DO NOT TRUST HER.
Oh, and they mislabeled a bunch of boxes so i didnt know what was what, and then left some stuff behind in australia

Collection in Aus was fine. Delivery once it got to NZ was fine too. but those were different companies.

Go with Santa Fe at your own risk. You have been warned

I accepted their initial quote by signing and accepting their quote only to be told it had to be increased by about $300 because of a system issue missing a freight component. Given quotes are contractually binding when accepted, it went back and forth a few times and it was only when I wanted to talk to the manager was the matter resolved and they agreed to go ahead at the quoted price. Once organized, pick up was arranged quickly, the driver came between the 2 hour window period advised. The delivery has not yet arrived in the U.K. so I cannot comment yet on the delivery

Out of Canberra the removalists were fantastic. Unfortunately NZ van lines in Nz didn’t offer the same level of care. Packed incorrectly ex the ship and careless handling resulting in damaged furniture.

I emailed Matt McPherson on 16 July to advise the state of this shipment. My sons 12 boxes left MURGON 1 1/2 months before they left Australia on 15th June. As of today 15th August they have not received their shipment. Their boxes include things they need to live including work tools, washing machine. My son has been onto the shipping company. Told they would be there on 24th July???? This is NOT GOOD enough. The company needs to explain and URGENTLY deliver these 12 boxes. Where are their boxes???? They have not kept in touch it is my son who has had to make contact. I ZERO rate this company.

The manager from Albury completed the quote and advised the start date. The first day the packers were working in several rooms at the same time which was unexpected and caused some confusion. Halfway through the allocated 3 days, a discovery was made that there was insufficient bubble paper, wrapping paper and paper to complete the pack. One was under the impression that the boxes were to be packed directly into the 40 foot container that we had paid for. This was incorrect – apparently due to driver issues – and the boxes were packed onto the truck outside our premises in Deniliquin. The items not wrapped placed in the back of the truck. The entire house load was driven to Albury where – one imagines – that the unpacked items were wrapped and the entire household effects repacked into a 40 foot container. As the packers left Deniliquin 10th April, one is puzzled why it took nearly a month before the container was loaded onto a vessel in Melbourne. Still awaiting final delvery

My experience with SantaFe was terrible. They repeatedly ignored my emails and when they would respond, they couldn’t even confirm basic information like "When is my shipment leaving Australia?". The staff were rude and dismissive. Not only that, one of the 4 items I had them ship was lost. How do you lose one of 4 items?!?!? I have been actively petitioning my organization to cancel any recommendations and relationships with this organization, in addition to telling everyone I know, about how poor their service is and how little they care about their customers and the impact their poor service has on their lives. You should be embarrassed for supporting them on your platform.

We moved our whole household from Sydney to Vancouver. There is nothing I have to complain about. The move went smooth and well. The guys who handled the packing were nice and did a great job. The partner company in Canada (Tippet-Richardson International) was also excellent. Communication was great, we were updated regularly and everything arrived in one piece. We are very satisfied and happy and almost surprised it went so well

Extremely disappointed, initially, the Company gave me an assurance that they were very professional. I sort three quotes and picked Santa Fe WridgWay although they were not the least expensive. I had previous experience with OSS and had had [problems with them.
WridgWay drastically underestimated the square meterage, and put me in a position to have to pay additional costs. I arranged my own insurance at a third of the cost quoted by WridgWay. They did not carry out the contract to unpack and assemble items at destination. They did not secure the Bibs & Bobs box #1 ( items required to assemble furniture and other essential items). After 3 weeks of unpacking at the destination we are missing items such as a computer, radio’s, liquor, and there is multiple items damaged because of poor packing, I have been in contact with WridgWay management and will file a report at the highest level

I moved from Australia back to New Zealand with the above Mover. I found them very good right from the start. Michael the sales was helpful and answered my questions and made all the forms etc easy. The packers were excellent and on time and worked well. I then got my stuff in the time frame they said I would and the only glitch was with the New Zealand agent charging another fee I was unaware of, which the Santa Fe kindly paid when I queried it. I would recommend them to any one who asks.

As have not moved yet am not able to review the moving process. But out of the companies that you selected for me the one that stands out for follow up was Santa Fe Wridgways. They have consistently kept in contact every few weeks to find out how our move is progressing and whether or not we need any assistance. This has impressed me and so am feeling that when I do move I will be going with Santa Fe Wridgways as they seem to offer the best support of all the companies that you selected. However since then received very little communication and have been waiting on a refund of a service not provided since the 10th of August. I was initially advised my goods would be shipping in 2>3 weeks again had no confirmation that this has occurred.

My move was horrible. I was quoted a fair price. purchased full coverage insurance. was quoted a move time apporx. 3 months for shipping. the delivery too 6 months! and when it did finially arrive boxes were missing. when I reported this they only insured some of the items. when I noticed more boxes were missing and reported it they wouldn’t allow it to be part of the insurance claim.

Just not happy with overall experience… 1) Packer filled boxes 1/3 with packing paper before he even started to pack my stuff in it so that there was double, triple more boxes I ended up having to pay double the cost than estimated, 2) my shipment was packed and ready to go 28 Feb 2016. To date, it is 7 Jul 2016. I STILL do NOT have my shipment, though it landed 2 wks ago but was targeted for Customs inspection. Now I’m told I MUST pay ANOTHER ~$75 for the Customs Inspection FEE!!!–before I can get my shipment delivered to me. And it would take another 2 weeks before delivery AFTER I pay the fee… Yeah, this is STILL an ongoing nightmare. Pretty sure I’ll hopefully NEVER deal with an international moving company again after this. Definitely NOT a money pit company like Santa Fe Wridgways. At this time, I can’t even review on the condition of my shipment.

Well I haven’t actually haven’t moved yet. But half of my gear has been put into storage, the half will be picked up in a few weeks.
I would like to say that the two young chaps who came to pack the first half were efficient and competent in what they were doing and seemed to knock it over in no time. The only problem I am having is the insurance, but hopefully I will get this sorted out.

Very disappointing service. Vehicle & effects were sent prior to advising me. Now vehicle has arrived in NZ and NZ Van Lines whom deal with Santa Fe Wridgways are adding on their own phantom fees which were not in my contract with Santa Fe Wridgways. Told by Santa Fe Wridgways just to pay extra $600 being charged as NZ Van Lines are charging storage per day. No help from them what so ever. It’s a case of one Company saying its the other Companies problem. Have referred the matter to Commerce Commission as they won’t release my car. Awaiting further info. Would definitely not recommend either of these Companies!

We relocated from Australia to the USA.

The guy we worked with had limited knowledge about moving freight to the US.

We didn’t have a final address ( only a region) to ship to. Our salesman said it would be fine as they charged on a state by state basis; he said we could provide our address at a later date in transit.

Our final address was 5 miles outside their 50 mile radius for the region, still in the same state, ( a radius which was not in any of their contract information) and they charged us fees to compensate them.

You are forced to pay their fees because they won’t release your goods if money is still outstanding.

Additionally Santa Fe Wridgways refused to insure some of our more valuable items because they didn’t want to take on the risk in case they were lost at sea.

My advice: have an address to ship your goods to before you sign and don’t ship to the USA with Santa Fe Wridgways. They have VERY limited knowledge about moving goods to the region.

I was very dissatisfied with this company. I was told by Michael the move may take 6 to 8 weeks. It took 11 weeks. The extended waiting time appeared to be of very little concern to Santa Fe in Sydney or NZ van lines (who handle the goods in NZ ). I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.

From start to finish the team and Santa Fe Wridgways gave me confidence and did an exemplary job.

Worst company ever. I was told i would have to wait 8 weeks give or take a little all up for my furniture to come from Sydney to Auckland. It has now been 11 weeks and i have been told that it has still not left sydney. All up we will be waiting 16 weeks! Double the time quoted. I am furious! We are sleeping on the floor! I did see bad reviews for this company so questioned santa fe Wridgways about this. They told me that they were bogus reviews. Liars! Save yourself the stress and go with someone else! Still have to wait another 4 weeks for my things that got picked up from my place 2 months ago!!!

It has been almost 3 months since my goods where collected and payment was made when contact stopped. I sent several emails and made several calls requesting updates and when almost a month later I was given 3 stories as to the reason the goods had not left Syd port yet. At time of enquiring it was explained I was pregnant and would require my goods b4 due date. It was garanteed that this would be possible due to regular shipments as this was a busy time of year.
NZ contractor as not been very help either however they have been able to update me and advise realistic time frames. Given the xmas break etc my goods I feel will not make it to me b4 my baby due date.
All in all very disappointed as all my baby gear is in the shipment. I will NEVER recommend shipment through them.

Customer service from the domestic relocation team was unacceptable upon acceptance of the quotes. The only saving grace was that the international relocation team was somewhat clued in. The removal team was friendly, however, not at all punctual and did not bother notifying us that they were going to be late.

Santa Fe Wridgways had excellent service, the only thing that held up our delivery was another customers issue with payment and Santa Fe can hardly be blamed for that. All items were unscathed and in the same condition Santa Fe picked them up in. Thanks again guys, helped us out a lot.
