Seamless from USA to the UK

From getting the initial quote, they kept me informed and guided me throughout everystep of the process, arrived on the day planned to pack and load our container, given the pandemic their men tried there best to social distance and completed the process in the allowed 2 days then the container left for the port in NJ for the UK. It arrived right within the quoted time frame and Barrons UK partner Purdie profesionally handled the delivery and done the unpacking and I am pleased to say while a couple of things could have been better packed , the load survived the whole proccess in good condition with only a couple of small items broken. From door to door in just over 30 days We could not have asked for more ....thank you Helen & Lisa, Barrons International coordinators....

Just a plain disaster

Arrangements were made weeks ahead for an international container to load our household goods. The container was due to arrive on 5th January 2021. On 2nd we were advised the container would arrive on the 7th at 11.00 a.m. Due to the fact that the container suppliers only allow a 2-hour window to load, we arranged for the moving company from Tampa FL to arrive by 9.00 a.m. to remove all the furniture onto the driveway to facilitate expeditious transfer to the contai=ner. No container arrived. Barronworldwide arranged for a local Ocala company to remove the furniture and boxes to a warehouse to await the eventual arrival of the container. The blame for this "blundering to victory" at this time cannot be assigned to Barron or the container company? As yet we still do not have a Bill of Lading for transport to South Africa and unaware where our household effects are located.

Trip to Medellin Colombia, and the experience was very good

Trip to Medellin Colombia, and the experience was very good, the agent in Colombia was with us from beginning to end. We took the packaging with Baron and it was excellent. When we arrived in Colombia they helped us with customs procedures and the delivery was excellent.

Moved from Dallas, Texas to Melbourne, Australia

POOR TO AVERAGE RATING. There is no rating for length of time taken to ship. Baron would get one star for that aspect of the service which is why I gave them 1 star for quality of service. On the rest of their service they get an average rating from me.

I had a small shipment of a couple dozen cartons and Baron was the best price, but by no means were they cheap for the (small) quantity of goods shipped.
I packed and labeled the goods myself. I shipped a few large breakable glass items including lamps and vases. All arrived intact, but more on account of the care I took packing those fragile items myself. I would never have trusted anyone but me pack those large glass items.

The worst part was how LONG it took to get the goods. Baron picked the cartons up from my home in JUNE and the shipment wasn't delivered to my new home in Melbourne until 6 MONTHS later. I would hesitate to blame the pandemic for the time taken to ship. I just had a shipment of furniture arrive from China in 2 weeks.

So if you pack your stuff yourself, don't mind waiting 6 months or more while it ships, and want one of the least expensive options, then I could recommend Baron as pretty average.
If you don't want to pack your goods yourself and you want your stuff in 2-3 months, don't use them.

From Florida to France a nightmare !

Worst people to do business with
I hired this company three months ago for a relocation from Florida to France.
Before you paid them they are very attentive but since you paid them in full there is no way to have any information.
The sales manager Helen is a b.tch!
Customer Service Jennifer is never available and always out of the office.
They picked my household goods on July 3d/2020
and we are October 6th/2020 they don’t know when I will be delivered.
That’s a shame!
I just received an email from a guy in ... Rotterdam (Netherland) saying they received my load!
But I am moving in France, not in Netherland!
Obviously they are using the cheapest way to send your goods!
They don’t care if it last time.
Really don’t make business with Baron Worldwide or Johnson!
Stay away!
They are crooks!

Farse

none of the options described were applied at pickup location, no garment boxes, no cartons for packing, no wrapping for artwork, only card board rolls were used as packing material! Crew were not professional, lacked knowledge of packing, were hired the morning of the pickup from a location for day workers, did not even know the name of supervisor who brought them to pickup point! the loading was haphazard and not properly secured in container and all of this was communicated to Baron coordinator orally and by email, including photos, who did nothing to correct the situation. At the destination the container was opened at the arrival port and delivered in two separate trucks by the delivery company with substantial damage and a claim is pending with not indication from Barons for a remedy for the issues. The barons pricing was changed from the original offer but agreed to based upon services which were not provided. A very cheap attempt to minimize cost on the part of Barons without regard to the quality of the service they provided. A disgusting display of professionalism!!!!

An excellent moving experience.

This was our second move to Mexico, the first twenty years ago. Both were with an international mover: the current move with Baron was nearly flawless; the first was a total disaster. Am I happy with Baron? You bet! Helen has been my moving guru.

The packers were completely professional and efficient. They only handled international moves, they worked as a team and they clearly knew what they were doing. The shipment made it here in about 2 weeks after being flagged by Mexican Customs. The Mexico part of the move was similarly professional.

One chair came broken and the insurer wanted to brush it off with a very small payment. I contacted Helen and she is working on making it right.

International moves have a lot of moving parts and there are lots of things that can go wrong. It seems that most movers contract with local companies to do the pick up and delivery- necessary in a big world. At least with our move, Baron hired experienced movers and coordinated everything well.

stressful

From my first contact with Baron Worldwide till the day I moved we had even a pandemic in the middle. That added a lot of uncertainty and stress. But at the end I am EXTREMELY HAPPY as how my stuff was handle and how everything arrived ( a little late) but in perfect conditions. In this all I learned that Baron subcontract those who will be handling your stuff. Early on I was very skeptical of the process but I ended super happy with the companies they subcontracted to do the job.
For sure I would hire Baron Worldwide again ( no that I think about moving from one country to another again!)
In particular Stephanie Cruz Senior International Moving Coordinator, was super patient with me and always responding immediately. Same for Meghan McKeon and Helen Shany, both patient and understanding of my panic attacks!
With regard the local movers (Happy Hour Moving for the Kansas city packing and Thelsa mudanzas from Laredo Tx to Qro) both really amazing! They handle everything with great care, clean, fast, educated and very careful with my stuff .

A terrible experience from start to finish

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Dreadful service - no show on day of shipping, radio silence with communication, arrogant CEO/MD and rude packers. No apology and a total rushed job.
Baron pestered us for payment and refused to acknowledge any responsibility for poor service. When we came to pay the bill, they had Overcharged us from the original quote by $1000! False measurements. We asked the company in UK to check the measurements and they were wrong. baron had to refund us. ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES.
When our shipping finally arrived, EVERY item of furniture was damaged. Baron refused to accept responsibility for this - we even took it to the CEO. PAC Global insurance who Baron use for their insurance were also dreadful and we managed to get less than 50% of the money we claimed for. Baron didn’t want to know.
It was an awful experience from start to finish.

1/2 a star

Lots of chatter from Baron in the beginning. Now, SILENCE. We have no idea where are things are. We do not know if the ship ever left from West coast US. Zero communication from Baron. When we try to contact them they say they will check but then never get back to us. 2 full months with no word from Baron.
If our goods ever show up I will contact with another review.

Everything went very well!

Everything went well on time and just as I was told it would. They accommodated me in letting me add a couple of more items to my Palette because I was under their minimum requirement for shipping. They got back to me in a very timely manner with any of my concerns on all my things arrived here on the beautiful island of Aruba without any problems.

The worst experience ever moving

First I ordered a 20ft container, they called me 1 day before my move to give me a time frame the will arrive Thursday between 9-11 am, than another moving company called and said they will not be there until Friday between 9-11, asked what I wanted moved told him he said they will bring all packing materials. No one showed up until 2pm and did not bring anything boxes for our TV’’s, Lgr Mirrors and Lgr Painting and showed up in a moving truck and not my container. The moving truck had a pallet of computers and monitors that they said had to be taken to the airport after they finished up at our home. Needless to say that the job was a mess, no bubble wrap for any of our fragile items so we had broken dishes and glasses. When I called to find out how much we owed for our services they said we had to speak to our coordinator. Once our household goods arrived in Costa Rica and was ready for delivery we got a quote on what we had to pay here and we paid it, than received a call that we still had to pay Barons, will after sending messages and leaving messages for our coordinator we were told by the company here in Costa Rica the person had quit. We finally got a hold of someone at Barons to pay what we owed, after wiring the money we received our first delivery, a month later our second container arrived, we payed the local moving company for our delivery and scheduled it, the day before Barons notified us that we still our $1860.00 more when confronted with what our invoices stated and what we wired to them we were paid in full. After going back and forth with Barons they finally called the local moving company here in Costa Rica to release our household goods. I will never recommend Barons Worldwide Moving ever. They are the most unorganized, most inefficient company I have ever dealt with. I have worked for the DOD for 30 years and never in my life had such awful service like this.

GREAT EXPERIENCE

Mex to Mia, always got my questions answered, reasonable prices, there was a minor problem with the size of furniture to access the elevator and in less than one hour the VP of operation Ayal Shany came and resolved the problem.
Storage prices were really reasonable and confident the next leg of our trip from Mia to Jerusalem will be just this easy.

Sharks

They destroyed our brand new for, played a time game and a partial fill strategy they do, 4 hours load crew arrived after the truck scheduled arrival. On the other side we (4men) unloaded and reloaded into another container in 2 hours 30 minutes. THE GAME!!!

Avoid thiS Company like the virus, only thing is they are by far much worse. They lie, they harass, they threaten. Frankly speaking I’m relieved And somewhat surprised the goods actually got there. Alas it did after 7 weeks of worry n hell on communications. They quote low and aim high in the end, their quoted 3800 turned into 7600, + 2000 insurance - 9200 total in the end. But wait! That’s not it all

1/... They have no insurance
2/... The goods were loaded with a fake full strategy
3/... They contract everything out over the phone
4/... Ayal is 2 faced lying Rat, just a little better than that barefaced liar wife or sister HELLen, pure scum. The worst of the worst!!!
5/... Their insurance I paid good money for peace of mind is a joke, loss adjusters extraordinaire 14k denied and not covered home floor damage, 2nd 7k for replacement of damaged goods discovered on arrival at destination.
6/... Load crew were druggie types, not good people full of BS, haggle n hustled the whole day, result 1400 addition load labor, and 1450 additional truck wait time.
7/... value of goods left behind due to fake full claim 6800 + 12.8k damaged goods on arrival.

This has been, my worst ever shipping experience, done loads, never like this one, none even close.

DO YOURSELF A REALY BIG FAVOR, dump this mob and find professionals, there are loads out there. Baron WW = 0/10, AVOID THESE SHARKS AT ALL COST

Nightmare

They quoted an amount and once they picked up the goods they more than doubled the price. They are very unprofessional and embellish the the truth. We gave them the exact number of boxes and dimensions. They took advantage of the fact that I had left the country and were hoping that I would be forced to ship with them at more than double the price. They misrepresented the wight and pallets. I actually had 8 (eight) pallets but they misrepresented the number and said the number was 14 (Fourteen) pellets. They changed from being overly nice to be very rude and inconsiderate to a point where I realized that I did not want to have any dealings with this company. Once I let them know I was not going to ship with them they decided to charge handling charges which became more that the first quote to move the goods from the USA to Swaziland. I ended up paying above $3000.00 for nothing. Basically I was just robbed.
Anyone who come across this company should run miles. Very unprofessional and would do anything to make sure they take your money without even offering a service. Be warned!!!!!!!!

USA to Australia - Absolute NIGHTMARE

This was our ninth international move, and Baron AND OSS worldwide made things a complete disaster.

Missing boxes, contract and proposal was for full reassembly and boxes put unloaded - nothing was assembled. OSS staff swore to our face with small kids around.
Boxes missing.
No response from either company, completely ignoring our emails and failure to address our concerns

We're very experienced with international moves, it's never a nice process - but between not getting what we had paid for, and now complete silence - we have to go down the legal route to try to get claims for missing items and replacement items for our large pieces of furniture that were left in the rain.

Absolute nightmare!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst experience ever! Once they have your payment in full good luck with communication and the adherence to your contract. They are absolute scam artists. They outsource, outsource, outsource so they can blame the companies they subcontract to and refuse to take accountability for their subcontractors. Numerous aspects of my contract were violated and when I reached out to complain about it, I was told by their director, he doesnt care and he will do nothing about it.

If you care about your personal belongings, take your business to ANY OTHER COMPANY! I have filed a formal complaint with the BBB in hopes others dont have the same experience I did.

The single most horrible customer service experience.

Barons dropped the ball every step of the way. From failure to pick with proper size truck, creepy moving guys who wanted money on the side, failure to send documents to the border, threats and money demands from the driver to cross the border, damaged and smashed equipment - apple computer, all in original factory packaging, and then missing boxes. Balance of shipment was “held for ransom”. I was instructed to deposit cash into the drivers bank account. For 3 months the company refused my calls, said “most people get their things, you are just unlucky” and that they were “not responsible for subcontractors they hire”.
Out of desperation, I paid the ransom for the remaining shipment, and was instructed to pick it up at 2am, a quarter mike from my home. I was recovering from knee surgery and was in crutches. They dumped the boxes on the sidewalk and left me to try and get them home. I found an old shopping cart and was able to push it home in the dark. Nightmare!!! Should be in jail, they are criminals.

Terrible International Move With Baron

Do not ever use this company. Our family had a horrible experience moving from America to Australia. We have had 8 professional moves for job transfers since getting married in 1993. Our move with Baron’s and Johnson’s was horrific!
In preparing our possessions to be checked through customs, these companies packed over 150 boxes without labeling what was inside each box. They simple wrote “box” on the customs sheet for each one. They didn’t even list what room they were packed from in the house. When our things arrived in Australia, customs told us they were going to have to unpack all 150 boxes. This not only delayed us getting out of temporary living and into the house we were paying for. Our possessions were broken to bits. We chose Baron’s because they say they are international worldwide movers, but they did not seem to have a clue about how to get our belongings through customs.
In addition, they rolled all of our five mattresses and taped them. They were sent this way for over a month on a ship. The box springs for all five mattresses were broken and we had to pay to have someone throw them all away. We had no beds when we moved in. We had to get all new beds and bedding due to how they packed our things. Our mattresses were just a couple of years old.
Our dining room table arrived with knife scrapes that I had never seen before. I am sad every night when we eat as a family and I see those scratches all over the table because of how these companies treated it during the move.
In addition, countless pieces of our wedding China from 1993 and countless other dishes were broken. When I opened the boxes full of glass and pottery, there was no paper. I have no idea if my things were sent across the ocean in boxes without paper around the glass, etc. or if the paper was thrown away when everything had to be opened and repacked at customs. Either way, we paid Baron Worldwide Movers to be in charge of the entire move and I could cry about how of my things arrived to Australia damaged and beyond repair.
I started emailing and calling Ayal Shany with Barons after our things arrived in October/November 2019. I emailed him tons of pictures of all of this damage. He kept telling me he was investigating what happened. He has not returned my calls or emails requesting an update for months.
I would never want this to happen to another family or person.

Worst moving experience in a lifetime

We have ordered our Trans-Atlantic Move with Baron Worldwide, looking for an experienced company that will handle with care and professionalism our goods.
We had the load estimate made by visio which was good.
They planned 2 days to wrap and load in August 2019 from US to France. The crew arrived the first day aroun 2pm and left at 2 am because they wanted it to be done the same day. They were barely speaking English. Instead of coming with the container to load, they came with 2 trucks. At the end of the 1st day, they pretended the container was full and we had to get rid of whatever we could. Of course all that was left at that point in the house was big stuff like armoire, freezer, beds, desks... We had to fight to get some of them taking care of. That was a total nightmare. We finally lost $1200 in value, while it was on the insured items list. The manager said I was a liar and added stuff in the house since he made the estimate, whereas I did the opposite, of course. And of course, at that point, we were not able to check the fact that the container was full. We did when it arrived to France, and there was a big hole (10 feet long to top) where everything left would have fit. Nothing was attached. Boxes and furniture have probaly gone up and down with waves on the boat.
New nightmare: the contract said they would wrap and pack our goods including furniture. They did not.
We have found out that most of our pieces of furniture were not individually wrapped, ending up to scratched on every valuable items
When we opened boxes, we realize the movers literally took what ever goods they could find and throw them into a box. Without any paper, without any tentative to organize and protect. Only glasses and china, were properly wrapped.
Even suits and blazers have been thrown in a box with handlers and some other pieces of furniture, with toiletries.
We even discovered that some items that went to the trucks did not end up on the container! They did steal them! And pretend now I asked it not to be taken.

I made a claim to the company. Obviously they have no Quality Department since they never took care of it. Never contacted me. My contact told me she was waiting from response from her managers. They just requested that I make a claim to the insurance. And we will see from there. 6 months have passed now! Of course the insurance disputed every item. We've just closed it.
And now, my Baron contact is asking me to not contact her anymore.

Even writing this review hurts me.
SO, CLEARLY, I DO NOT RECOMMAND THIS SCAM COMPANY !!!

First class service - wonderful 'thank you'!

I recently moved from Florida back home to England. Baron Worldwide was the only company who offered (under no pressure) a fabulous quote of which they have honoured and have provided truly amazing customer service throughout. My items have arrived within the time frame and all are in excellent condition. I want to thank Jennifer, Tina and Dawn for their time in explaining the step by step process with ease and patience. I would HIGHLY recommend this company, they are just superb all the way through! Verified customer - Joanne (January 2020).

Scam, liars, incompetent, threatening.

They sounded wonderful at first. But this experience or “life lesson” was a complete nightmare. I paid in full prior to pick up in November 2019 as required. My items did not fit into the truck, so the driver insisted he put the excess items in his wife’s personal car. This was the first red flag. Upon reaching the border, I was asked to pay more money because according to the driver, the company failed to mail my completed paperwork to the proper place. Once corrected, I was contacted several times by the driver for more money for a variety of reasons. He asked again for more money as he was outside my door in Mexico. The driver claimed he needed to transfer to a smaller truck in order to deliver. But I live in a huge complex with big trucks making deliveries every day. I asked the office. They said the driver was able to deliver the shipment with no problem. They even provided written confirmation that no transfer was needed. The driver still insisted on me paying extra fees. I refused to pay them since I was able to prove it was not necessary. This seems to be a very common scam with this company. Upon delivery, the driver threw my items from the truck to the ground. This resulted in many smashed items including my Apple computer and external hard drives. The driver refused to deliver all the boxes, he wanted more money. He left without delivering my entire shipment. When I complained to the company about the smashed items and non delivered boxes, and asked how I could file a claim for the insurance I purchased, I was told it would be denied. Apparently the insurance I purchased was called total replacement. This means they have to lose the total shipment to be reimbursed. If you receive any portion of your shipment, the policy is void. I never would have purchased this insurance if I understood this. When I pursued this claim and continued trying to receive the balance of my shipment with the company, I was told to stop contacting them. The driver continued to contact me, sending me photos of my missing boxes and also the wiring information for me to deposit money into his wife’s bank account if I ever wanted to see my boxes again. This went on for months. The company stopped taking my calls, said they would have me charged with harassment for contacting them so many times while trying to recover my missing boxes. They told me that most customers are happy and that I just have bad luck. All this time the driver taunted me with my boxes, saying he would mail them as soon as I paid the money. Then early this morning, February 28, 2020, (they picked up in Early November) at 2:00am in the morning, the driver called to say he was outside my door and wanted money. I got dressed, got my crutch as I am recovering from knee surgery and went outside with the demanded money. It turned out he was not outside my door, but a quarter of a mile away. Against my better judgement, but desperate for my work materials, I made the journey. He had 2 other men with him. I gave the money. He then demanded it be in pesos, not US dollars. He said I had to go with him to a cash machine. Absolutely not!!! He finally took the dollars and gave me my two large boxes. I found an old shopping cart to push my items home in the darkness. My nightmare is over, I hope I can save others from making this mistake.

Horrible!

I am a foreigner and did not understand that Baron Worldwide didn't offer me what I wanted. I was moving with my car and my furniture, but Baron only thought that there were my furniture only, not car at all. So, I have to pay a lot of extra money to get my car also in to the container. So, I really cannot suggest anyone to use this company ever.

Some hiccups, but now back on track

There was some initial confusion over the price and pick-up arrangements, and some mis-communication that delayed the shipping from the US. However, the shipment is back on track and I am expecting it to arrive any day soon. I'm delighted in the overall service and can recommend Baron for your international move.

From the United States to Argentina

We received our goods yesterday and wanted to compliment you. My experience working with the Baron team has been REALLY positive and you have taken a lot of the stress out of a big move for me and my family.
Everything arrived in good order. Top marks to all involved.

Horrible Horrible Horrible, very dishonest company.

Do not hire Baron World Wide moving. It was the most unpleasant move possible. Our goods were late, lost or broken. They kept us in the dark most of the time. Very incompetent , not trust worthy .

DO NOT HIRE Baron World Wide

Robbers, stole all of our household goods

Wanted to give 0 stars.
This company robbed us of all of our household goods after we paid the $7,600 USD. It was supposed to go from Los Angeles to Belize. It never left L.A....because they wanted an additional $13,000 USD! We couldn't pay that and they auctioned off our things without our permission.
We were robbed of my deceased father's artwork, my mother's paintings, and our deceased daughter's sentimental things.
We are musicians and they stole 16 instruments, our tools and furniture.
We had to start with nothing in Belize, after selling everything in the US and after the theft of our household items by this company.
Please steer clear of them.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS COMPANY

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. DO YOUR RESEARCH!!! I am very disappointed in their services. The communication is terrible. In the beginning it was good, but once they got my money, I barely heard from them. I emailed and called several times and did not receive any response. They always said they would check and get back with me. They never did. I had to call them and then they wouldn’t answer or return my call. Because of the fact that they always said they had to check, makes me believe that they don’t have a clue as to what is going on with their trucks, drivers, shipments, etc. New technology allows tracking for these people to track their drivers, trucks, shipments, etc. I was promised 2 different delivery dates. Both of which never happened. It took me three months to finally receive my items. At one point I was told to stop calling and then they hung up on me. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL!! They also misled me on their quote. Their original quote was $4 - 5,000, the second quote was $6 – 7,000, and their final price was $10,000+. Plus, they also charged me extra for using my American Express card, which was not made known to me in the beginning. They also did not allow me to fill 2 cedar chests, 3 toy boxes, 1 rolling organizer, 2 small chests, and 3 ottomans with items, which added to the overall square footage resulting in considerable extra cost to me. Because of the long delay, I had to purchase new items that also added to my cost of moving. Also, it was getting close to the holidays and I had several items (gifts, decorations, etc.) in my shipment. I had to replace these items which also added to my cost of moving. This was a very stressful 3 months for me.

I used Baron Worldwide to move from Seattle to Mexico. From

I used Baron Worldwide to move from Seattle to Mexico. From first contact with Helen to delivery, she was knowledgeable and professional.

They sent a team out to pack boxes that were being shipped. I was given all the needed paperwork with clear instructions on how to fill out for shipping to Mexico. They held my shipment until my residence permit in Mexico was processed. As soon as they had the copies of my documentation, the shipment was sent.

They packed my boxes into one large sealed wooden crate and all items arrived safely and intact.

I would not hesitate to use Baron Worldwide again and recommend them for any move internationally.

Efficient and reliable went without a hitch

They were very fast to give me a quote and the process was quick and seamless. They were very thorough and were very helpful along the way. In the end all my things got moved without a hitch. I would definitely recommend this company and will use them in the future if I need to.

Bad experience. Unreasonable price, bad communication, Slow!

Once we signed the contract and paid the nonrefundable deposite, hard time starts. First of all, they did not come pick up and made me stayed at home for whole day. Second, the agent who is responsible for the shippment and tracking, I could not reach her every time, no response... Third, before I sign the contact, the agent told me the shippment needs 4-6 weeks, however, after 2.5 months, my stuff are still in USA!!!!! Fouth, the price, when I quato, they told me my shippment is around 200cfm, the price is low as aroud 2 ,000, but finally the told me my shippment is more than 300, and the price is 6,500!!, they arrange everthing in three piles, and every pile are not well arranged at all ,then they can use the max length to caculate, and got the highest voulum. Fifth, at the very begining, the agent told me the price is door to door, no additional fee. However, when the shippment tried to delieverd to my home, their collaborating charged me another 1000 thounds!!! If I did not pay, I can not take my cargo......
So, please everyone, please rethink about it when you want to use this company to ship....

Avoid like the plague

This company was abysmal. They offered fantastic pricing and were great up until the actual day of the move. Also, Baron Worldwide doesn't actually do anything, they just sell you shipping and outsource everything to Johnson Moving and Storage (ALSO AVOID). The "good" reviews for each of the two companies that you can find online are written by the employees of the other in a sick and twisted sort of symbiotic propping up of each other.

Long story short, we had a scheduled appointment time to meet our container for a self load. 1 hour after the appointment time had passed, we were finally able to get in touch with the company who then took another hour to inform us that they weren't going to come that day at all. Please note that the appointment time/location was four hours away from our home and we had rented a truck and several laborers to load the container...

Essentially, the company forgot to arrange for a trucker (and truck) to bring the container to us and they tried to blame the ocean freight company and the port itself for not providing a chassis for the container.... Ironically, both the port (container yard) and the ocean freight company confirmed that the container was sitting there waiting for the company to arrive with their own truck/chassis as that was not something they provide.

After discovering that most of their reviews were fake, we finally found some genuine ones that relayed similar stories and found that this company finds a way to concoct all sorts of excuses for delays so they are able to charge long term and very expensive storage fees (only necessary because of their incompetence)....

We ended up arranging our shipping with another company on the same day after discovering all of this and did a chargeback on our credit card for the deposit as they did not act in good faith.

Baron Worldwide is the worse company I have dealt with

Starting with the booking personnel, to the International Coordinator Ms. Dawne Harris, Helen Shany, International Sales Coordinator, ending with Mr. Alex Smith, Ayal Shany, VP of Operations International Department, the experience was the worse I ever had. What was promised with the signature of the contract never happened. My personal belongings were picked up on August 2nd and only delivered to me on November 22nd. Mr Ayal Shany personally guaranteed the delivery of the goods by October 23rd as per email "Teresa,
Per your conversation with my manager, your shipment is scheduled to leave the 19th of September, with an ETA to Europe of the 9th of October. You should receive your shipment on or before the 23rd of October.
Should you have further questions regarding the sailing details, Please contact your coordinator, Dawne Harris. Thank you. Mrs. Jennifer Barnes International Coordinator"
From the beginning there was a problem with communication, always an excuse for not answering calls or emails. Mr. Ayal Shany was extremely rude to me, even asking me if I knew what "ATA" meant! Mr. Ayal Shany will say anything to make you pay even before shipment is sent or a date is set, when the contract is clear and says " "Balance must be release 72 hour prior to the release/arrival date of the shipment...."" I paid even before knowing the date of shipment after speaking to Mr Ayal Shany who promised me I would receive my goods on or before October 23rd.
There was no communication from any of these people regarding the shipment, after my last call on September on September 20th, no shipment details were sent to me.
The boxes I received were in bad shape. Some of the goods were broken. But I decided not to pursue any more communication with this company.
As a VP of Operations, Mr Ayal Shany proved to be all a VP should not be. Rudeness, disrespectful, and dishonest. A man, a VP of a company who gives his word and does not keep it, says a lot about the company itself.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. Unless you are looking for headaches....

Well planned strategically!

Not much to tell - because everything just went very well. Communication with the company was easy, they were prompt and courteous. They quoted a fair price and there were no surprises. I have some large pieces of furniture and Art and they were prepared and knew how to handle my stuff from door to door. Mario and his team were really great and knowledgable, they gave good advice. This is the only service I will use!

Miami, FL to Haifa, Israel without any problems - fair price

Excellent service: timely, professional, efficient. We shipped from Miami, Florida to Haifa, Israel, and Baron Worldwide helped me coordinate the door to door overseas shipment every step of the way. They were an absolutely pleasure to work with.

They kept in touch and we always got a quick reply to any questions.
This is my third move like this and the best experience by far. Communication for these type of transactions is so important and they were absolutely patient in answering all of our questions and helping us when needed.

Mario (the crew leader) was phenomenal. The quality of the packing crew and how they packed each piece of furniture was an art to watch. This is my 3rd international relocation and by far the best one.

I highly recommend BARON WORLDWIDE.

I highly recommend using Baron Worldwide.

Baron Worldwide is the company you want to choose when you relocate from one country to another, and Helen Shany is the person to contact!
Helen was absolutely a great person to speak to and work with. She was on top of every step during my move from New York to Luxembourg.
The service of packing and loading in New York was managed very well.
Joseph, the crew leader and his team were on time and packing was spectacular.
Helen answered all my questions quickly (even after hours).
She worked closely with the delivery time to insure an on time delivery which was required as we were going out of town.

I highly recommend using Baron Worldwide for your international relocation requirements!

The worst company we have ever dealt with.

Moving from Tucson, USA to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Was suppose to take 3 weeks and it has been over 3 months and still no delivery. Company was late to pickup our goods and have lied to us on where our goods have been and when they will be delivered. They also underestimate and charge at least 30% more once they have your goods. The VP of Operation is a very unprofessional individual and cannot be trusted. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This has been our worst experience in our lives and we are in our 60's.

Lac of communication

I did not have a good experience with my international move. I was quoted for 600 CF and I ended up having no more than 350 CF. The company charged me only $200 less than quoted. I made the deal with an American company that had help from a Mexican company. If I did not call and send emails like crazy to both parties I would not have updates about my move. None of them were proactive to provide updates. Due to budget and money reasons, I dropped off my things at a warehouse in the border. Upon arrival nobody had notified them they should be expecting me. It took 18 days to have my stuff delivered from Laredo, TX to Monterrey, Mexico (which is a 3 maybe 4 hour drive). Even though I had fully and successfully paid for the move, the company kept on hold my shipment. At the end, the person who dropped up my belongings (2 hours later from promised time) did not have my name, phone number or apartment number. Good thing I was outside on the street desperately waiting that I saw a big bus. He had to open the truck so that I could recognize if those were my things. All me belongings were delivered; however, two legs of a couch were severely damaged.
