Four criteria of writing independent reviews
IMR rates companies based on information provided in reviews left by moving families and individuals. Therefore, they represent the experience of movers like you. Ratings are based on four key criteria:
IMR uses the information you supply, to provide others a clear overview of which moving companies are the best in their business. You assign companies with a ranking from 1 (lowest) to 5 stars (highest), and we calculate and show you the average score. What’s more, you can look at specific criteria scores, so if you are looking for the cheapest company it is possible.
Explanation per element
Communication is key, especially during a move. This category allows you to share your experience regarding your moving company’s ability to communicate clearly, honestly and concisely. The company’s reachability in a timely manner per phone and e-mail is also important here. If applicable, did they handle your complaints well? A good communicator is able to communicate what they are going to do to help you get from A to B.
Your moving company’s planning can be summarized by the way they provided you with a quote, whether they made an effective and fast planning, and whether they stick to that planning.
Quality refers to whether your mover did what they promised. This score can go up when a company includes offering you sturdy packaging, and nothing breaks or gets lost during the move.
The price of your move may vary a lot from one moving company to the other. This category refers to the degree to which you think the price is acceptable for the services your moving company has offered you. Is the balance between price and quality fair?
After you have filled in a 1 to 5 star rating for each category, we ask you to provide additional information about your moving company. This helps us explain the moving experience you have had with a moving company to future movers.
